Trained Here. Recruited There.
Playing in college takes more than talent. It takes a body that's ready for the work, and a mindset that's ready for the jump. That's what we train at Char Sports Performance in Montclair, NJ.
Where Char athletes have gone
Our athletes have gone on to compete at these college programs.

What "college-ready" means to us
A base of strength built with good technique, so athletes arrive ready to train, not catch up.
Acceleration, change of direction and speed that carries over to the field, court or ice.
Training adapted to each athlete's strengths and weaknesses, so they can stay healthy through long seasons.
Toughness, focus and coachability. We put real emphasis on mental and emotional preparation for college life and competitive sports.
How we prepare athletes
We evaluate each athlete's strengths and weaknesses, then train them at the level needed for high-level performance in high school and college athletics. See the program →
